Instrumental in setting up and operating 5 Bar & Books locations in NYC and Europe, Ben is also the Beverage Director for Crown Group, overseeing operations for The Lion, The Crown, Bill’s Food and Wine and two Windsor Locations. The mastermind behind the cocktails at each of these venues, he earned title of “Most Inspired Bartender” from Bombay Sapphire and GQ Magazine.
Partnering with food scientists, distillers and perfumers to create flavors for the world’s top brands, Marshall has designed beverage programs and cocktail menus for world-class venues from The James Beard House, NYC to the Park Hyatt Tokyo. He also launched his own Bar Keep Baked Apple Bitters in conjunction with Los Angeles Modern Spirits. Author of “How to Booze: Exquisite Cocktails and Unsound Advice”, his recipes have featured in New York Magazine, Maxim, San Francisco Chronicle and Gary Regan’s “The Bartenders Gin Compendium”.
The technical leader of the team, after getting his Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Mark gained experience on the design team of the Aston Martin DB9 and working on the Daytona 24h and the Le Mans 24h races. Moving into Event Production he helped orchestrate the Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury music festivals in the UK. He has created large dynamic and eye-catching art pieces for SGP and Burning Man and has exceptional IT, logistics and project management skills.
